Vidit Santosh Gujrathi
Vidit Gujrathi became a Grandmaster in January 2013, aged 18 years and 3 months. He is the fourth Indian to cross the rating of 2700. He is currently the third-highest rated chess player in India after Viswanathan Anand and Pentala Harikrishna. In 2006, he finished second in the Asian Youth Championship in the U12 category, becoming a FIDE Master. in 2008, the year he became an IM, he became the first Indian to win the World Youth Chess Championship in the Open U14 section. In 2013, Vidit won a bronze in the World Junior Chess Championship in Turkey in U20 category. Vidit represented India at both the 2016 and 2018 Chess Olympiads.
